Wilson, Meurs Help The OHL Get The Win Against Russia.

The fourth game of the Subway Super Series was played in Sarnia last night and Whalers forwards Tom Wilson and Garrett Meurs were there for Team OHL. A lot more can be said about Wilson’s play then the play of Meurs, though both played very well for Team OHL and helped secure the 2-1 win.

Meurs saw a lot of ice time in the game, picked up an assist on the first goal and ended the game with a +2 rating.

Wilson may have saw less ice time, but Team Russia learned to keep their head up when he was on the ice.

Yakupov gave his helmet to a fan in the crowd. We later found that part of the reason is because it was broken. Any guesses how it might have happened?

Both Whalers players had a great showing and thanked everyone via their Twitter accounts.
